Learners will learn fundamental concepts of programming like loops, variables, and conditionals. Through a story-driven curriculum, students will gain more general knowledge of the world, covering topics like the environment and outer space to historical periods. Concepts will be reinforced through group work in specially designed Minecraft worlds ensuring a fun and meaningful time. By the end of the course, students will have a strong understanding of computational thinking and approach to problems.

HANDS ON EXPERIENCE WITH MICRO:BIT!
Learners will be able to build various micro:bit projects that will develop their programming ideas using MakeCode. Learn to program various interactive games such as creating their version of Flappy Bird! Throughout the Coding camp, they will also receive in-depth knowledge of how the little robotic device can sense light, movement, temperature, sound and much more. By the end of this course, learners will gain a basic understanding of block coding and usage of micro:bit along with the usage of inbuilt peripherals and input/outputs.

CODE YOUR OWN ANIMATED ADVENTURES!
We will first introduce your child to block-based, drag-and-drop programming to build on their fundamentals of computational thinking. These fundamentals are reinforced by creating fun games like Flappy Bird, designing digital applications like a calculator, directing and staging animation projects with Text-To-Speech, and much more! By the end of this course, your child will be able to recreate games with a complex design like Pacman!
